There are three types of Lag:

1. Pivot Lag;

2. Accumulator Lag; and

3. Clubhead Lag.

The Golf World speaks of Lag but without the above precision. Only in TheGolfing Machine are they defined and their respective roles delineated andsequenced.

Each type of Lag has its unique assignment in every Stroke Pattern. Therefore,it is only within the context of a given Stroke Pattern that there can be an"ideal blend."
