Finish swivel

While driving through to both arms straight, where does finish swivel prep begin, and is it different for hitters vs swingers? Is it accomplished with a counterclockwise curl of the left hand after follow-through?

Thanks

For me, the finish swivel prep begins with the awareness of a lagging clubhead and a bent right wrist through impact. Once your right arm can't go any further down and out, your right forearm makes a counterclockwise twist while maintaining the bent right wrist and the club is swiveled back to plane.

Finish swivel begins at the end of the selected hinge action. This is different for different hinge actions as they have different clubhead travel time but should be about same location of the hands. The horizonatal hinge action employed by swingers has the longest amount of clubhead travel, while vertical hinging has the shortest travel. Angled Hinging typically employed by hitters has a shorter clubhead travel time than horizontal hinging, however the hands are in about the same possition. THe feel of the [i]Roll Prerp[i] would be dependadnt on how much ACC#3 you are employing

remember hand motions, 4-C-0 you TURN to the Right....

and you ROLL to the left.

so a finish swivel is a roll of the left hand. It is the continuation of the your RHYTHM – your Delivery Line Roll thru Impact, to the Release swivel into the completion of the hinge action smoothly into finish swivel. There is no pivot motion that finishes the stroke, you must rotate the hands yourself. The left hand rolls, the right hand is just driven and rolled by the right elbow straightening.

It's interesting reading one explanation vs. another. The golfing machine lingo post vs. the simpler laymans terms. lol
