Golf: The Science and the Art

Leon Z. Seltzer, a 93-year-old professor who used to teach aerospace engineering for five decades, has his book in Feb 2008. Don't know if any one here read that before.

I got a copy as ebook and find an interesting part...He quantify the amount of "centrifugal force" but don't have much details.

His famous quote as an amateur player and a technical consultant for Callaway Golf, Goldwin Golf, Orlimar and several other top manufacturers is: “you can’t argue with physics”.

The book is not any kind of The physics of Golf, it is easy to read and I also enjoy his chapter on Golf Immortals.

I got my copy earlier in the year courtesy of Drewitgolf. Thanks, Drew!

One of the most striking features of the book was Seltzer's insistence on the stationary head. I especially liked the two techniques that he used as a kid to learn it.
