Gyro Swing

It's the real deal. You can't hit balls with it and it's a bit heavy but other than that you can FEEL on plane and off plane motions. I ordered two at the Merchandise show!

pluthb, is it only from half way up and half way down that you feel the correct motion (back and through) or at any given point in the entire golfswing do you feel the gyro?

im asking because i have a tendancy to be seriously too flattish back but i reroute on the way down so at halfway down im on plane then off later post impact.

Im just wondering if the thing will give me feedback elsewhere than close too impact and impact since i get away with that part most of the time.

For example, will it feel my offplane motion 3/4s of the way up?

thanks

I viewed the video. Hmm? The gyroscope would seem to give one feedback if you Roll off-plane for whatever Plane your clubshaft is on. I don't think it teaches you to swing on a Turned Shoulder Plane.

Anybody had more experience with this?

Caused alot of excitement at first...then went quiet...

You could try the Downswing Exercise on a page at my website LongGolf.com. It would keep you on your impact plane, or rather it would allow you to learn to do that pretty quickly.

I finally got to try this gyroswing out at the PGA Superstore. It basically forces you to perform a swivel motion through impact. I mean it flips your right forearm over like crazy at the bottom of the swing arc. It reminds me of the AJ Bonar "magic move". I see it only useful for that kind of release, but it had me hooking and topping the ball in no time.:confused1

Sounds perfect, I've been having a hard time getting my tops to turn over. :laughing9

I apologize to anyone who uses the product btw. I have never tried it, I just couldn't fight off the urge to be a smart a** :)
