Hand speed

Is there a drill or something that can help to determine whether or not a person has fast hands or slow hands? How can they use this knowledge to aid them in their swing?

Hand Speed

The ball doesn't lie, unless you have throw away. What club would you hit from 150 yards over water 8 out of 10 times?

Seniors 6-iron plus
Decent am's 7-iron
Fast hands- 8-iron
Really fast hands 9-iron
World Class speed- wedge (not bladed either)

Hope this helps,:golf:

Aiming point concept?

I use P wedge or 9 iron (MP32 with Black Gold S Shaft) most of the time.
So my aiming point is a bit backward. It works for me.

So, faster hands, less trigger delay?

If that's the case, should a novice who hits the ball far focus on more of a sweep release?

Also, if someone with fast hands is trying to maximize their distance, and they have a sweep release, will maximizing trigger delay help or hurt them, distancewise (I suspect it may hurt consistency?)?
