Congratulations to Brian Gay for his 69-67=136 start (-7) in the Frys.com Open in Las Vegas, Nevada. The tournament is being played on two courses: TPC Canyons and TPC Summerlin. Brian was on Summerlin today, and his 5-under par 67 was one of the best of the day.

Doing What the Best Do
 

Right you are, Mathew. Most important, Brian Gay has 'heart,' and this tournament is a perfect example.

Teeing off on the 10th hole at TPC Canyons the first day, he was 2-over after the first four holes. After a birdie and another bogey, he was still 2-over after 12 holes.

He then birdies four of the final six to shoot 69 and finish 2-under for the day.

Today he blisters TPC Summerlin with a 5-under-par 67.

And that, dear readers, is why he has a reserved seat at the table of the best players in the world.

Walk the Line
 

In a round that included six birdies, Brian Gay today shot a 4-under-par 68, giving him a three-day total of 11-under 204. His great round moved him from T-34 to T-21. :salut:
