Angle of attack

I'm a little confused about how steep or shallow the downswing should be for a hitter. I think I may coming in too steep but then again maybe I'm supposed to. I'm taking the proper sized divots, thin and long but I'm not sure if this is because I'm pulling up at impact.

It seems that if I came in shallow it would be hard to get that down and out motion going. But if I came in too steep, I would be more susceptible to higher than wanted ball flight as well as a couple of the s word shots every now and then (from hitting on top of ball).

Is there an ideal degree of angle to come into impact at? How can I tell if I'm coming in right? And are there drills for this?

Thanks,

Rob

I believe it's been covered before...but...

If you look down at your on-plane right forearm at impactfix you're actually looking at the angle of attack.
Someone might be better at explaining this:rolleyes:
