Correlations 10-19/21/22

I tend to naturally, or for some reason SNAP LOAD. I have at times used FLOAT, and at times have a little of both. Very soon after the Power Package Load... I FEEL the bending of the shaft, and FEEL pressure on the #3 Pressure Point.

When I get away from the Late Power Package Load , and probably Assembly... I seem to have trouble with the Lag Loading. If the Lag doesn't load... TROUBLE in various areas will occur!

I would like to hear your ideas on how these... 19, 21, 22 blend, and work together to form a dependable pattern. Do most of you use the same, or similar LOADING procedures for HITTING and SWINGING, OR does it FEEL similar? The LAG LOADING, of course(Drag, Drive) is different, but Float could be used for either.

I strongly recommend the suggestions in 12-1 and 12-2.
So use Random Sweep Loading Action at the Top for Hitting (Drive Loading) and Snap Loading at the End for Swinging (Drag Loading). You should definitely be able feel their differences.

P.S.: Float Loading should not really be considered a Lag Loading procedure.

Why is float loading not Lag Loading-what is being loaded?

It is Lag Loading...It can be downstroke loading with the left wrist, right elbow or both...

The illusion is that he is pushing his hands down, but they are dropping as a result of the shoulder rotation and a drop of the upper body of about 3" by way of an increase in the waist bend with the hips staying at a constant height.

Neil,
I think Tong is saying that either 10-19-A or 10-19-C needs to occur first.

Sort of.

There are only two ways we can accelerate a golf club:
  1. Longitudinally (Drag Loading 10-19-C)
  2. Radially (Drive Loading 10-19-A)

That is the essense of Lag Loading.

I'm saying that Float Loading has more to do with Assembling the Power Package somewhere in the Downstroke, rather than the way you accelerate the club. Hence you can Float 'Load' either Radially or Longitudinally.

Tong...

Interesting comment. I am not sure it has to do with Power Package Loading per se. I think Homer is inferring that, during the start down, delaying the wristcock until the downstroke will set up an environment in which lag will be loaded versus true power package reference (otherwise, he wouldnt have felt a need to place it under 10-19, 7-19).

Watcha think?
