He mentions TGM briefly in Chapter 2 when talking about extensor action. It was about 4.5 minutes into the video.

I am becoming a big Tomasello fan by way of these clips.
Right elbow location is taught wonderfully in this segment,
and a great visual of "over the top" related movements.

I think this is a good video. This really shows how plane angle is a preference. All good strokes are 3 diminsional, it's just a matter of when you do each diminsion that makes your plane angle. Do you go more in and back before you go up (Tomasello) or do you do all more at the same time? It isn't a matter of right or wrong. Both work. It is a matter of what you feel comfortable doing.

The right elbow relation to the hip in swinging and hitting was enlightening. Keep 'em coming!

Hebron's not toooooo bad Mike. He has an entire chapter devoted to TGM in the book i have and seeems to give reasonable credit :)

I thought Mike Hebron was an authorized instructor of TGM.

Mike is a GSED teaching out of New York; I think he teaches somewhere in the South during the winter.

Hebron's a GSED. One of his books does have a big TGM section in the back.

Michael is teaching at Pine Needles presently. Incidentally, he has been credited by Pat McGowan as being instrumental in Pat's capturing a 2005 Champions Tour card.

Hebron teaches pivot controlled hands with many TGM principles. He is absolutely huge on lag and the flat left bent right.

He is a big believer in Swinging. All full swings are the result of a pulling motion. Limits Hitting, as an option, to short shots (chipping) only.

emphasis on trail elbow vrs.hip?
 

TT emphasis on having the trail elbow come down in front of the rear hip in above video poses this question.

If the elbow comes down behind the hip what is the likely shot pattern...?

or if the elbow centers on the hip what is likely shot pattern

I beleive Hardy's Single Plane motion emphasis is on getting the trail elbow behind the hip prior to turn motion.....purely because of the more bent posture req. for sp?
