Our latest Video Series - John Riegger, A Day at the Office is a four part video featuring a combined full hour of Golf Instruction with John and Lynn.
This video was shot at TPC Herron Bay on January 19, 2007. Within a few months, John went on to win the richest regular season event on the Nationwide Tour - The LaSalle Bank Open. The full hour of video is available for $35. Once you have purchased the series, you will be linked to all four videos in the Premium Videos section of the Gallery (http://www.lynnblakegolf.com/gallery...ry.php?cat=532). "A Day at the Office" focuses on Johns practice routines for the Driver, Irons, Chipping, and Bunker shots. The video is available for purchase in the Pro Shop. Thanks, |
Oh mighty webmaster, we beseech thee...
Hmmm... may we humbly petition for PayPal? That is reallllllly the preferred internet method of payment. :)
BTW, how is the Attachments upgrade coming? |
Yes, PayPal is definately the way to go and it's pretty easy to set up an account. It gives buyers confidence to pay for internet purchases without directly giving out their credit card info and possibly becoming an identity theft victim. Been using PayPal for years now without problems.
|
Guys, we did consider the paypal approach but landed on using authorize.net, an industry standard for online payments. In addition to complaints about the use of paypal, we were able to negotiate better rates through authorize.net, thus keeping everybody's costs lower.
In an effort to maximize security and minize the chances of identity theft, we do not store or even handle your credit card info. We've done this by taking the extra step to use the authorize.net provided check out and payment processes. If you have any concerns about the security of our online store, please let us know so we can address them. |
Oh kewl.....payment will be winging its way soon!
Alex p.s. Erm guys slight problem. It keeps on asking me for a State or a Province and since I don't live in the US or Canada it doesn't apply to me but I can't go further on in the payment screen unless I put one in. |
Indiana, UK = OK

AVS mismatch
Hi,
Got this message "The transaction resulted in an AVS mismatch. The address provided does not match billing address of cardholder. (27)". Used this card many times online and made sure the info was written correctly. Help anyone? Kim, Norway |
In case others are experiencing this problem, I'm working w/ Kim on this.
|
Guys, I think we got the country/state thing licked, as well as any AVS errors.
|
I had an AVS error too but used another card instead and it worked fine.
The videos are priceless...lots of good stuff. Does that mean that the Brian Gay video is next? Alex |

J. Riegger's video
Yoda:
I found the 4 segments of John's video to be very informative. I am planning to watch them again tonight. The best part about each video, along with the swing sequence, is your interaction with John and how you pick John's brain on what he thinks / feels during his preparation and execution of each shot. A couple of good swings drills were mentioned too! Well worth the $$, in fact, can I just pay an annual fee to have access to ALL videos as they are produced so I can continue down the path of true golf knowledge? Keep up the good work, let me know if I can further the cause. Pat LV Paiute Golf Resort |

Thanks for your boost, Pat. Coming from you, it means a lot. :salut: P.S. Regarding your pricing question, we're still 'fiddling' with the various issues involved. For example, 'per video' versus monthly and annual subscriptions. Also, should we offer different versions with enhanced stop-action capability? And should we have dedicated premium threads where I answer questions specifically related to these videos? We'll soon see what the market wants and measure that against our ability to deliver. Also, now that we're on this track, our 'homespun' product will continue to improve as I learn to better handle shutterspeeds (for clarity of stop-action) and audio (semi-professional miking). Whatever we come up with, early purchasers will be rewarded, not hurt, by our decisions. |
Good stuff---the info presented about the "flat left wrist" during the iron shots REALLY cleared up some things. A visual presentation with explanation is how I learn best. Have only watched each segment twice, but each time I pick up on something else. A nice start to the premium section. Thanks, Yoda. And also thanks to John for allowing us to see "how a pro does it".

What You See...

What you see is what you get. And, in this case... That is quite a lot. :) |
Just watching John Riegger explain and demonstrate his 'Assembly drill' was worth the price of all 4 videos. Plus John clearly shows how he uses extensor action. Very good stuff....thank you.

I sent you a private message a couple days ago. Mauritius was in the drop down country list. What are you seeing?

Hi YODA HI PAT
koool:happy3: music to a teacher's ear...awesome |
Hey attikc! What do you think of the Riegger video? What tidbits did you pick up? How's the game?

I still cannot get the dropdown country list to "drop". The button is inactive. Would there be any other method of payment like a bank transfer? Thanks for your help |
I especially like the part where Mr. Riegger talked about rolling his right foot on plane from release to finish.
Game has come full circle, work in progress still, RFT is truly magical!:happy3: -rob |
John's Grip
Yoda,
Is John using a 10-2-B or a 10-2-D grip? The image of the "cupped" LW at the top of his swing during the "irons" segment sort of had me go :confused1 . To me if looks like his LW is rolled considerably on top of the grip at address. I understand 10-2-B to be a more "neutral" grip compared to John's and one in which the LW would appear to be visually "flat" at top (which is what I try to do). Am I wrong? Great set of videos btw.:salut: Thanks, CG |
Premium Content Q&A

Thank you for your comments on the John Riegger Day at the Office video. Despite its 'homespun' nature, the video offers tremendous value to viewers on several concepts important to TGMers. The video is, yes, about 'how-to'. But, just as important, it is also about 'how-not-to'. One 'blind alley' avoided can save years of frustration -- trust me, I know -- and your question demonstrates this value. Suffice it to say that John's Top and Finish Left Wrist alignments are perfect for his Grip Type, Head Postion, Ball Location, and Clubface-to-Target Line and Grip-to-Clubface alignments. Any further discussion would have limited value except to those with access to the video, and since this is Premium Content, that audience is limited. Bottom line, I am prepared to answer 'video-specific' questions, but only in a Restricted Access thread. I'll get with Bagger and Bambam and see if this is feasible (on this and other Premium Content videos). Meanwhile, I'm dropping you a PM. :) |
That's understandable. I'll look for the pm.
CG BTW - for those who haven't dropped what is essentially the price of a few sleeves of Pro-V1's and snagged one or both of these premium videos, you're missing out on some really good stuff. Home-spun for sure, but nothing like getting into a Tour players head while watching how he applies the concepts that get discussed so much on this forum to "his game". And it's a game any of us would give our "flying right wedge" for! |
