New Blake- and I don't mean the Pink Panther!

Here is one of many new Lynn Blake Golf videos as Lynn and I try to salvage the Woodmont workshop DVDs. I’ll post more about that later.

In this clip, Lynn explains alignment golf and why all you swingers don’t feel PP#3.

Enjoy. The CrapSmacker is up next.

Bagger and the gang have posted it here.

That was great lynn.... :)

Got a question though to help me with my animations. If I am animating the right arm and forearm - how can I 'pinpoint' the forearm precise location at any particular keyframe. Im very much interested in working out how to control what I call the plane of the right elbow bend...

Mathew 10-24-2006 12:12 AM

Wait a minute - I think I might of gotten something wrong with my conception of the right forearm....read 7-3 a few times ...

Is what your saying in this video - the right forearm is always directly inline with the aft of the shaft for hitting and top of the shaft for swinging ?

Hitting or Swinging, the Right Forearm and #3 Pressure Point always supports the Loading Action. With Drive Loading (Radial Acceleration / Hitting), the Clubshaft is Stressed (Shaft Bend) from behind, i.e., on its Aft side. With Drag Loading (Longitudinal Acceleration / Swinging), the Stress is created at the Top of the Shaft.

Thanks Mike and Lynn..

I never ceased to be amazed at how clear and simple Yoda can explain TGM.

Clears the fog regarding the right arm javelin throw.
Thanks!

YodasLuke 10-24-2006 08:30 PM

one wish

I wish I had met Yoda, when I first started playing. :crybaby:

Having the information so clearly explained is so different than the TGM/method that I was previously taught.

I've already made my 15 month old watch the video three times. ;) He's almost got the most important name in golf instruction: YoYa.

CrapSmacker

All finished. This clip has a Tee buster. This is as good is it will get. I can't play with this anymore. All but one tee shot is in-synch. I hate audio problems. With that said- I like this clip.

At Woodmont (lacking sleep) I sat on the ground with my camera and talked to John Hue- a great guy to know with a very good Swing- about what he was doing. He was working on the Hit Stroke after a few minutes with 'Yoda'- "The Hit Doctor."

I am FTP ing it to Bagger in a few minutes.

Oh Annikan- mailing your goodies on Thursday. Part two next week.

Bagger Lance 10-24-2006 11:45 PM

The CrapSmacker cometh

Mike and I just spoke a few minutes ago. The CrapSmacker is surfing through cyberspace right now on his way to Texas and then to L.A. where he will take up residence on our server.

Watch this post for the link when the CrapSmacker is ready to deliver the goods.

I want to smack the crap outta the Bucket?....with a Stick of course!!!!:laughing9

6bmike 10-25-2006 12:21 AM

Done

Bagger-I left a message on your phone. It's done- you should have it.

John Hue is one of the good guys. I really enjoyed meeting him. Not that TGM attracts chumps- at least none that gather.

Bagger Lance 10-25-2006 12:30 AM

This is just great...LBG - THE TGM site of discerning G.O.L.Fers worldwide.

dcg1952 10-25-2006 01:41 PM

So, as I get my EMR (electronic medical record) set up to start seeing patients I quickly switch screens and log on to LBG per my morning routine. I see that the new video is up and decide to download it while I'm seeing my first patient. In the middle of the visit I suddenly hear a "WHACK" coming from my laptop sitting on the counter. It repeats several times and I realize the video has started playing. The guy I'm examining is a typical golf addict and says, "Did you open a driving range in here?". I explain what happened and he laughs and wants to watch it. So, I switch screens again and we watch it together. I discuss swinging vs hitting and we continue to watch. He then says," Man, that guy is hittin' the crap out of that ball." Then I showed him the title of the video and he agreed it was appropriate. Another successful office visit----quality medical care mixed with excellent golf instruction. It doesn't get better than that! Told him to schedule another appointment when the next video is out. Thanks LBG and staff. Dr Dave

I absolutely agree. I've read the book many times over, but seeing the concepts visually demonstrated has done so much more for my understanding.
