My putter had a 70.5* lie angle and a 4.5* loft and we had to switch it to a 74* lie angle and a 3* loft. Anyway, they're not all like that. And until they are I keep plugging along. We'll get there eventually. 3JACK |
I haven't been around these parts in a long time so forgive my ignorance.
When you guys say "Right Arm Throw", is that similar to what Tomasello taught? Thanks |
another personal best
I saw Richard on Friday. We had been to Terminus on Monday to put him on 3-D. He had made changes that were beyond belief. In almost every parameter there was improvement. His warm-up swings were above 100mph, when his original swings were 84mph. We saw one thing in the left knee that we wanted to change but were unsure what we could do since the knee lacks some cartilage. I gave him one thought, and the kinematic sequence changed for the better in addition to the speed jumping.
He wanted to do a follow-up on Friday at the range, and we had similar improvement in the results. I can understand anyone that would doubt the outcome, because I would doubt it if I had not seen it with my own eyes. Richard has now achieved a personal best of 120mph with a driver, when his original personal best was 84mph. We were so excited that he had almost achieved his goal that we forgot to take a picture. He wants to get to 126mph to have a 50% improvement in clubhead speed. I once thought that goal was unrealistic, but it might be possible. I told him when I was chasing the 4 minute mile in high school that seconds and half seconds became harder and harder as I got closer to the goal. Also, Richard is in great shape, but he is 52 years old. There will be a limit. But, we're still reaching for his goal. A 43% change in speed would make most people happy. |
Wow, that is encouraging for the rest of us too. I'd take a 10% increase right now.
How much of it is a smaller pulley wheel vs effort? Non automatic right arm throw still? Or is he now automatic? Amazing changes plus. |
smaller pulley

He's still non-auto. |

I have some recent video. With the weather as bad as it's been here, I'm not sure whether we used the Casio 300fps or if we had to do the video inside with the dinosaur camera. When I get to the work computer, I'll see what I have. |
6-P-0 in action, Homer would be proud. Not a bad methodology for a 15 handicap working out of his garage for nearly half a decade.
Luke he must be approaching a Snap Release, do you foresee him going 10-24-D or E even per 6-R-0. Non Automatic or Automatic Snap Release, with a Paddle Wheel. This is some cool stuff here. Thanks for sharing. |

Hmm? with a Pitched Elbow and Sequenced Release. Must be rare. |

So a one week Delayed Release? Is that what you mean?

Nissan Fort would be a good handle.
My first born was a Non Automatic Delayed Release and very late, forceps. Second was Automatic, Snap or the X procedure that my wife and I refer to as Automatic Splash Release which happened in triage while they were trying to send us back home. My wife is very determined and doesnt like being corrected. I'm imagining a third would require a Johnny Bench type nurse in as a catcher. So typically one works from Non Auto to Auto and from Sweep to Snap for full power anyways per 6-somethingerother. |
