HG, great pictures of how Brian gets the club shaft PERFECTLY on plane. Homer Kelley would love that...

And what happens if you teach that misalignment to a guy who is talented enough to pull it off?

The Hands and the Right Shoulder , they have a thing going on. In Startdown.

This camera angle is kinda sorta on plane at Top, I wish they shot this angle more often.

Its interesting how these guys made adjustments to get their hands and right shoulder on the Inclined Plane for Startdown given their various backswings. Plane Angle shifting, despite the fact it looks like a non planar, curved hand path. It is curved and planar too. 1-L-18.

Sad State of Affairs

Thanks, hg. Your photo of Heath illustrates exactly what I was talking about. Clearly, Heath's left arm is not on plane, despite Mr. Kostis's analysis to the contrary.

If a "noted" television swing analyst can't come close to getting the Plane right, what does that tell you about the state of conventional instruction?

Thanks also to O.B. for his photos. 'Preciate it!

If we had a thread of Peter Kostis, among many others, incorrect geometrical statements of professional golf swings it would probably be the most lengthy thread in the history of this forum. Whats scary is until last June or so I just took their professional word as correct. There just might be a reason why handicaps have not improved.
