This is my first ever post and I am pleased to say I am a big believer in Mr. Kelley's system for golf and Lynn Blake's ability to teach and inspire.
I have just been through two days of Yoda's "throwing the book at me" at a seminar in Greensboro, NC and my incubator is at maximum capacity. Lynn guided our class through sections of the book and provided us with insights into Mr. Kelley's work that I don't think you could find anywhere else. What a great learning experience!
I believe Mr. Kelley got it right when it comes to the mysteries of golf instruction, and Lynn is carrying out the G.O.L.F mission of getting the right info into the hands of the golfing public. Two rights make one big RIGHT. Thanks Lynn for all you are doing.
I have been on the G.O.L.F. journey now for one year and have had the opportunity to watch Yoda teach members at the club I work at, and luckily, receive his help on my own game. He has not only been a huge influence on my teaching, but also has injected enjoyment and enthusiasm into my own game.
If any of you have not had the opportunity to go see Yoda "in the swamp," I strongly encourage you to do so. The encounter will certainly be worth your while.

Thanks. Curt. I have immense respect for you both as a person and a player, and I sincerely appreciate your encouraging comments.
As an introduction to our readers, Curt is Assistant Professional at Eagle Point GC in Wilmington, NC, the third-ranked golf course in North Carolina. He is also the 2007 Carolinas PGA Section Champion and 2009 Player of the Year. His competitive performances earned him entry into the 2008 PGA Championship at Oakland Hills and the 2009 Quail Hollow Championship at Quail Hollow. He is also one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet.
Thanks again for this first post, Curt. Welcome aboard!
Having been in attenadance at the Greensboro, NC seminar recently was quite an experience. I have been trying make this happen for quite a while. It is an experience that I felt that the information was coming from HK himself. The information was very clearly prsented and to have 12-3 totally explained verbally and visually was a masterpiece. Many thanks to Lynn for taking the time to come to Greensboro. I will see you soon.

Hi guys,
Welcome to the board Mr. Sanders, you will LOVE it here.
As far as Mr. Halloran, I would like to say hello as well as thank you. Leo seems to enjoy staying in the background, but whenever I am struggling to understand something, he will shoot me a kind PM to help. Leo is one of the brightest professionals I have ever had the pleasure of talking to, as well as one of the kindest gentleman. Another unsung hero of our industry.
Good morning YODA!
Kevin

Hey Curt....my first post ever as well.....Really enjoyed your comments about the time that we had with Lynn at Carolina Golf Academy in Greensboro this week. You have it right...Lynn aka Yoda has it right. I have spent much time with various teachers over a 30 year period in my quest to gain more knowledge that will help me with my teaching and coaching as well as preparation of my game for competition. I can say that beyond a shadow of a doubt "Yoda" can communicate the essence of the Golfing Machine in great detail and with a tremendous amount of understanding and insight that only comes from personal experience with Homer Kelly and a lifetime of study. Lynn is a national treasure with respect to teaching.
Curt...I enjoyed having you at my facility in Greensboro.

Wow. Thanks, Rick. Especially given your recognized, relentless pursuit of excellence in teaching, those accolades are really special.
When it comes to golf, Rick Murphy bleeds 'Carolina Blue'. The proprietor of Rick Murphy's Carolina Golf Academy, he has been ranked by Golf Digest since 2002 as one of the Top Ten Teachers in North Carolina. Golf Magazine ranked him one of the Top Teachers in the Southeastern United States. Rick is the 2001 Carolinas PGA Section Teacher of the Year and the 2008 Professional of the Year. This last is the highest honor accorded a Section PGA professional.
And his own game?
Two weeks ago, he won the Greensboro CC Pro-Am, recording seven birdies and an eagle in a single round.
