What is happening
As the title suggests is exactly my question, due to medical and other reasons I been restricted to short iron practice only.
Now,heres the thing, one day last week,I for some unknown reason began "chipping " with the feeling of using the R/wrist to "uncock" my L/wrist,I hope you can follow this.....the R /wrist doesnt flatten out ,but feels as if Im uncocking my bent and level R/wrist down into the ground.

I played yesterday and tried this "method"or "feel" in all my shots including driver,I have never hit the ball so well and so consistant,my irons were like arrows and 3 wood was the best Ive ever struck, the only drawback was in my driving, they were very straight but with a definite loss of distance...10-20 yds on most.
Can someone explain whats happening there, this I might add using swingers pattern,Im not complaining as I shot a 1 over par round.
Thanks in advance

Are you saying that while maintaining a Bent and Level right wrist, that you used a clockwise rotation of the right forearm or hand at release to Uncock the left wrist?

If so, I can explain the geometry and I can tell you why you're losing distance on your drives.

Thanks Daryl,no,Im not sure exactly whats happening, its a feeling that Im driving down deep with the R/wrist going down deeper into the ground, how can I say,its a feeling that im driving my R/forearm down to an aiming point except I dont have A/point in my minds eye, perhaps another way of looking at it is ...my R wrist is assisting my FLW without my L/wrist doing anything specific....hard to follow eh...Im sorry its the only I can explain it...cheers

Get Video. If you think it helps that much, then get to know the mechanics. I'd like to know them too.

Sad thing about feel is that they're here today but gone tomorrow. Mechanics are forever. Golf is fun when you can play on feel.

2 Accumulator Swing. Swingers angled hinge. But he said no to my question so I haven't a clue.

Brownman

Do you feel like you are pushing down on the top of the shaft (left wrist uncocking) with the right hand or more specifically the knuckle at the base of the right index finger? The #3 pp in the knuckle. This could be done without unbending the right hand with a right elbow extension. A Right Arm Throw of sorts, or an X procedure maybe. It provides the DOWN of a Left Wrist Throw, Release Trigger but via the Right Elbow.

thanks ob,yeah, the R/ wrist feels like its doing the work that the uncocking L/wrist should be doing,it seems as if its assisting my R/wrist staying in the bent position and not allowing it to flatten out,in saying that,Im also able to roll the lever assembly over post impact with relative ease.
This is something that has sort of happened by itself,Daryl is very right in making me aware that "feelings" are a day to day thing. Also, you are right,I do feel PP#3 in index knuckle.
Thank again

Do you feel your right elbow straightening is doing the left left wrist uncocking?
