What happened to all the replies that were made here the previous two days????
I dunno, Joe. Looks like they've been moved over to the Hitter's Emergency Room. My guess is some Web Gremlins (Bagger? Trig?) thought the conversation had drifted to Hitting, and we were now in the 'wrong room.' But I don't know...I'll find out and get back.
But it does bring up a point...
I visualized the Emergency Rooms as a place for those who already know -- or at least think they know -- that they are a Hitter or a Swinger, but they've hit the wall in getting it done. They have urgent problems that demand urgent solutions. They need immediate, no-nonsense help: Fix my Hitter's Slice! Fix my Swinger's Hook! We're talkin' triage here, not recovery. Visualize the opening scene in M*A*S*H -- complete with theme music -- and you get the picture.
In other words, the ERs were not designed for extended discussion of differences between hitting and swinging and other nuances, no matter how interesting. Those worthy conversations belong in the Forum's Basic and Advanced TGM sections or in others that we'll no doubt develop along the way.
Yoda requested that they be moved to the Emergency Room for hitters as that was where the questions and comments were leading.
