Sit down drill
I'm having a hard time visualizing how to do the sit-dow. Any drills or tips?

Pictures of Sit-Down

Three things I notice at first glance;
  1. These players use a Sit-Down Procedure
  2. Their Heads do not fall back in their stance like some who Hip-Slide to initiate the DownStroke
  3. The Sit-Down does move the Hips toward the Target

Tin Cups

I hate the term "sit down". For me it ranks right up there with the "lawn mower pull" to describe the right forearm takewaway.

To get to the "sit down" position I just think about turning my left hip counter clock wise after a slight bump (weight shift to the left foot) during the backswing/downswing transition.

If you think "sit down" trust me you will sit down which leads to BOBBING and all kinds of bad things.

try focusing on moving your left knee "level left" to start the downswing as the first move

Feel like your left azz cheek goes left and BACK like it's going to hit a wall directly behind you but targetward.
