In frame #5 the club is parallel to the ground, however, the right elbow does not APPEAR to be in front of the right hip. From this view, it's hard to tell whether this is PITCH, or PUNCH, but I would say a PITCH.
it's just not "tucked under" like some perverted looking attempt at getting it in front....
Lynn showed me this at Pine Needles...
Its more pitch than punch...
Just not "Perverted Pitch"....and it is passive participation!!!
Yay, Annikan! The structure of the Flying Wedges demands Left and Right Palms perpendicular to each other (clapping hands). The Right Wrist is set in its Impact Fix degree of Bend. The Right Forearm comes into the Hands as that Right Wrist Bend dictates. Players attempting the 'navel seeking Elbow' almost always twistthe Elbow inward, thus Flattening the Right Wrist to some degree and destroying the Right Forearm Flying Wedge.
Matt Sluzinski, the recipient of the inaugural Homer Kelley Award last year, learned the same lesson at our April 2004 Workshop at the PGA TOUR Academy. Like you, he has since posted his satisfaction with the results.

Great information from Annikan and Yoda!!!
Some good examples of this, I think, are Byron Nelson and Davis Love.
From down the line... the elbow appears to be behind their hip, but face on they both have fairly delayed releases, and good Impact conditions.
So..... do the guys that have a super maximum trigger delay, have a different hip action that enables them to get there without destroying THE FLYING WEDGES?
Thanks...make sure you read and re-read Lynn's reply closely.....
"Yay,Annikan...Not important..
the TEXT after is the "real deal !!!!"
DO,
You are so right , my brother! I just have to look at Yoda's avatar to crystalize in my mind the essence of the alignments so critical in sound ball striking...so wonderfully simple!
