Censorship
Lynn and staff,
This looks like a wonderful site developing. I am one of those who lurk in the shadows as I try to understand the book better and use Chuck and Brian's sites (and now yours) to obtain information about TGM. With no AI's in Pittsburgh this is as good as it gets for now. However, I do have a brother-in-law in Atlanta and my daughter is at Auburn--so I go through Atlanta a couple times per year. I think maybe it's time to stop in with you folks this spring.
My hope is that you will keep out the troublemakers that have infiltrated every golf site I have ever visited. In essence, this site is your "kingdom" and it's not a democracy----it's a dictatorship! I hope you and your staff censor/ban/imprison etc. the morons that seem to take over some threads and waste my(our) time reading their junk, personal attacks, etc. We are here to learn TGM, not debate its validity. They can go to other sites and do that. Let's have fun!
Best Regards, Dr Dave

Democracy in action
DCG -

Thanks and welcome to the site.

We really want the membership here to feel a sense of a "club" atmosphere. If you have ever been a member of a private country club, the membership has a sense of ownership and pride in it. In a good club, there is usually mutual respect and controversial issues are delt with professionally and with dignity.

Consider this the LBG Country Club and membership is free to the public. As we evolve the clubs services, there will be a paid membership as well for premium content not offered to the public.

This is primarily an instructional site for the application of TGM principles. Should a few bad apples arrive with a different agenda, disrupt the focus of the site, or abuse the rules we have established for this forum we will take the appropriate action in a manner that reflects Lynns values. That is, respect for the individual.

We will warn in private, we will temporarily ban in private, and we will ban in private; in that order.

I hope that addresses your concerns - This is going to be a VERY enjoyable site for everyone to learn the practical applications of TGM and of course, to clear the fog in understanding the book.

Bagger
