The Bucket Brigade
Congratulations to 12 Piece Bucket on his Post #2000!

There is left brain (analytical).

There is right brain (intuitive).

And there is Bucket Brain (both of the above...'one-off' and scrambled!).

Nowhere is there a more ardent fan of TGM. Nowhere is there a truer friend of this site. We are privileged to have him among us.

Thanks, Rich!

Bucket full of Wisdom
Rich is one of the brightest, funniest, creative "Machine Minds" I have come accross. He is always searching to expand his horizons. I have spent many hours on the telephone with him and he is always a treat to talk with. As Yoda mention previously, don't be fooled by his internet persona. When you talk TGM with Richard be prepared to have your mind picked and enlighted, he knows his stuff and his persuit of knowledge is unrelenting. When talking with Mr. Crews, the one thing you will never be is bored.

I look forward, as does Mike O maybe, to the next 2000 posts.

That's easy- Jail or an Asylum- or a coffin if your better half intervenes before the first two.

So special . . . coming from such a "special" person. Means a lot for you to post at this particular time with the Wiggles being on and all.

Fruit salad . . . yummyummy.

In recognition of 2,000 posts should Yoda consider renaming you Colonel Bucket?

Big thanks to all of y'all. I haven't been able to respond appropriately to this thread. But here goes . . . it's a genetic crapshoot so don't expect no Willie Shakespeare . ..

I stumbled across the Machine by chance. Didn't get it like so many others, but I knew it was the best information on golf period. That I did get. So I stumbled and bumbled around with it for about 3 or 4 years leaving it and coming back to it. During a slump I (who have become lengendary at finding ways to not work at work) was doing a search on The Machine . . . and started reading Chuck's forum . . . there was ONE DUDE that had it better than anyone else as far as I could tell . . . so I called that ONE DUDE and he told me to check out another DUDE close to me . . . Eddie Cox . . . and the first G.O.L.F. friendship for me was made. I still knew that even as much as Eddie pulled my game from the grave, I still had to go see the ONE DUDE. And I did just that . . . someday maybe y'all will get to check out my visit to see the ONE DUDE.

I owe a lot to the ONE DUDE. The ONE DUDE has been very very generous to yours truly and for that I am very grateful. I'm proud to call the ONE DUDE friend. And if it weren't for the ONE DUDE I wouldn't be anywhere close to where my understanding is today. But more than understanding and an improved motion, ONE DUDE has given me an outlet for my goofball self and I have made many great friends along the way ONE DUDE included. I spend time with The Machine everyday. I love every minute of it. The ONE DUDE lit the fire and the ONE DUDE has facilitated so many other great friendships.

One day the ONE DUDE will be THE DUDE . . . but for now . . . a very heartfelt thanks to you ONE DUDE.

Paul Harvey on Bucket
A few thousand posts ago in a galaxy far, far away there was huge void of knowledge and talent...

A "giantsuckingsound" could be heard across time and space...

Shortly after joining this forum "giantsuckingsound" changed his screen name to represent the most fulfilled and satisfying thing he could think of at the moment. A 100,000 calorie, deep fried delight that can be consumed within minutes and tasted for days. Colonel Sanders "12 Piece Bucket" with a side of slaw, taters, and corn.

And now you know...the rest of the story.

I'm just a few hundred behind you oh greasy one.

Draw!!!! Festus.

Have you seen the new "bowl" thingie they got cookin' at the KFC? Chicken, taters, corn and gravy on top in a bowl. That's something even I wouldn't eat . . . now if they mixed one of them lil' bucket parfaits in there I'd reconsider.

I gotta think that if you have over 50 posts . . . you are an internet dorkball . . . I have proudly carried the torch as Citizen Dork . . . you are hereby Sherrif Dork. Still working on Mike O's title of distinkshun.
