I am a swinger, yet, I set up at impact fix. Are there any basic tendencies that would result from a swinger setting up at impact fix, rather than adjusted address?
Swingers can use either Adjusted (Standard) Adress or Impact Address. Neither is mandatory. As long as you use a Swing Back motion to Load the Left Wrist and Secondary Level Assembly, you should be OK.

You can start your swing from any location you choose as long a you know why and how to get to correct impact. Std address gives the advantage of "the swing away", however impact fix address gives the advantage of structure and preview.

The main thing to keep an eye on is a takeaway that stays on line/plane. A swinger starting from fix can tend to take the club too far inside. If you also float load, you can tend to leave the face open. The advantage of adjusted address is that it basically makes it easier to stay online/plane in the takeaway.

That's a great phrase Mr. Precision System: "structure and preview". I am swigning from an impact fix position because the clubface, shaft, and right arm alignments help me to remember to go "down and out", and I have the mental image amd intention to "swing through here". Maybe I am doing the adjusted address incorrectly, but when I return from impact fix to adjusted address, the clubface is closed, my shaft is leaning back, and my right arm is high. I lose my bearings and intention, and start having thoughts like "address is not impact" whch isn't particularly helpful to me.
