Driver Fitting and Swing Changes
I am in need of a new driver (old ft-3 has a crack in composite), I have an old Ignite Driver that i use as a backup. The question i have is, when you are in the middle of changing a swing (approach angle) can this have a major effect on the spin and launch. I generally launch the ball a tad bit higher WHEN I get the club to come into the ball on a flatter plane and there is very little roll as well. What should I do durring this transition and should I be concerned about getting fitted for a new driver

I don't know how big of a deal your swing changes would be to launch conditions, but finding the right clubfitter could make it a non-issue. I found a guy here in Indiana that will make minor or major adjustments to the club at no charge after the initial investment. That includes everything from shaft and grip adjustments to swapping out clubhead and shaft. The only thing I pay is the difference between the price of the old and new component.
